Since Water and Environment, is the most recent field of research in the Al-Urdun Al-Jadid Research Center, the Center is currently at a stage of setting an agenda of program activities that would address water and environment problems in Jordan. The Center has so far made proposals for conducting few activities and is working on generating the necessary, human, technical and material support. Please do visit our web site again in order to follow up on our advancement in this field of research. We, on the other hand, will update it regularly and keep you informed. The proposed activities in the Water and Environment Field of Research include: A National conference on integrated water resources management. The publication of the "Annual Report": a periodical depicting the state of water and environment in Jordan, problems, violations and events in this field. Expanding and updating the Water and Environment web site and building an on-line discussion group that serves as a forum for discussion for environmental activists. Issuing periodical News Letters showing environmental indicators. Holding training sessions for environmental activists. Public awareness campaigns.
