This program studies the parliamentary elections both in Jordan and in the Arab and International countries for the sake of comparison. It also studies the stages of the electoral process (advertising, voting and the results), prepares data figures and electoral indicators as well as analyzes each stage including the electoral environment. The program also aims at developing the techniques and the methods of analyzing the elections, in addition to developing the methods of monitoring to insure fairness and transparency of the electoral process.
The program gives especial attention to the electoral system and its impact on democracy, political pluralism and parties. It seeks also to include the municipal elections in its activities.
