Units
1.The
Research and Studies Unit: This unit conducts research, studies
and reports on the status of human rights, and the laws governing
them. The researchers of this unit also formulate programs aimed at
disseminating and introducing the general principles of human rights
and freedoms, in addition to creating activity projects for the programs
from the workshops, courses and seminars.
2. The Information Unit: This unit provides the referential
databases concerning issues related to human rights and freedoms,
and to the organizations working in these fields in the Arab world
in general, and Jordan in particular. This unit documents and classifies
the information obtained from the specialized periodicals, the working
papers presented during the relevant conferences and seminars, and
the bulletins and reports issued by the local, Arab and international
organizations. The unit's database is a referential source for human
rights activists, and concerned civil society organizations, academicians
and researchers.
3. The Electronic Publication Unit (The Internet): This unit
aims to reach the largest number of entities concerned with human
rights issues, by publishing the activities, publications and future
work-plans of the Human Rights Program, in addition to publishing
summaries of the working papers presented during these activities,
and the researches, studies and reports prepared by the Program researchers.
