Program Introduction:

The women's program is backed by UJRC's main goals that ensued special attention to human development issues, political participation, politically increasing the affiliation of weak figures in society, practicing election and candidacy laws, and providing fair opportunities for the weak figures to participate in making political, economic and social decisions.

UJRC gave special attention to women's movements and organizations, considering them as one of the essential branches of civil society and its organizational bodies. UJRC worked on monitoring the reality of the status of women, and researching the obstacles and problems it faces, in order to develop their level of participation in life.

The philosophy of the program is from the notion that women are the center of social change, modernization and complete development. The program aims to involve women in the political and decision-making processes, and provide them with fair representation and participation opportunities. The women's program (one of the first programs at UJRC) works on organizing conferences, seminars and training workshops, as well as conducting research and releasing reports and books.
