Since the beginning of the year 2000, Al Urdun Al Jadid
Research Center has established a specialized unit for
water and environment, known as the Jordanian Environmental
Watch program, for dealing with local and regional environmental
issues.
This watch program, considered as a forum for dialogue
on policies related to environment, is concerned with
organizing scientific conferences, seminars, workshops
and training courses as well as researches studies and
reports about the environmental situation and conditions.
